Prepping for Your Next Winter Road Trip

You’ve just completed a Miracle Body and Paint auto collision repair, your kids have gone to Winter break and you are ready to take a family road trip. Three tips will keep you and your family safe, happy, and healthy while you travel to your next Winter vacation destination.

1. Maintain Your Vehicle’s Comfort: Anyone who has visited our San Antonio auto body shop knows that every vehicle deserves to be treated with respect and care. This applies to your car’s exterior as well as its interior. Keep your windows cranked as necessary and/or your heater or air conditioner running at a comfortable temperature to prevent family members from becoming exhausted by extreme temperatures.

2. Prepare for Sun. While the bright gleaming sunlight in your eyes might not seem like a danger, it can pose a serious hazard to your eyes if you don’t have the right tools. To protect your eyes from the sun’s glare, invest in some polarized sunglasses or a sunvisor.

3. Stop to Regroup On road trips it is tempting to rush to get to your destination. However, not taking the time to slow down and regroup as necessary can cause more harm than good. You will get tired driving for long periods of time. It’s OK to pull over, stop for a few minutes, and then regain your energy at a rest stop nearby.

No matter what your Winter break road trip holds, make sure you have our contact information. Miracle Body and Paint is located in San Antonio and the surrounding areas and would love to help you with paint and bodywork when you’re involved in an auto accident.
